Good Hope Early Childhood Development Center is located in a refugee camp in Angulupi, Arua district. It has a fenced compound, as well as a full playground for students to use. There are currently 295 students enrolled in Good Hope. This is an increase of about 90 students since last school term, due to the continued refugee influx in the refugee camp.
In January, TAN distributed 111 donated dresses to the female students in Good Hope. (These dresses were made and donated by Altrusa Longview-Kelso and Northlake Church.)
Joy Early Childhood Development (ECD) is located in a refugee camp called Simbili in Maracha district. It also has a fenced compound, as well as a full playground for students to use. There are currently 147 students enrolled in Joy.

Hope is a school located in Arua district. There are currently 189 students enrolled in Hope (63 in the Nursery section and 126 in the Primary section.) We expect this number to increase since the students are still reporting from their holidays. There are 23 staff members employed at the school (12 teaching staff and 11 support staff), including a new Headmaster, who was hired in January. There are also 47 students sponsored through the DOVE Uganda Children’s Fund (21 who attend Hope Kebir and 26 who attending neighboring schools.)

Peace is a school in Yumbe district. It currently 420 students enrolled in Peace Yumbe Nursery and Primary School. (242 in the Nursery section and 171 in the Primary section.) We expect this number to increase since the students are still reporting from their holidays.There are 25 staff members employed at the school (19 teaching staff and 6 non-teaching staff.) There are also 39 students sponsored through the DOVE Uganda Children’s Fund.

Bright Star is a school located in the Ngurua camp in Arua district. It currently has an enrollment of 133 students, which is a slight increase from last school term. Due to the increase influx of refugees, we expect the number of students to increase. The school semi permanent block is recenty completed, and we are in the process of constructing the fence.
Play ground equipment have already been procured waiting for just the construction of the fence to be finished and then we install the play ground equipment.
